Ascension Coffee House

Rick McKee – host of Ascension Coffee House

Ascension Coffee House is a local listening room for original music that provides an opportunity for songwriters to share their creative work with an appreciative audience. Each month a different songwriter is featured, hosted by Rick McKee. McKee is a singer/songwriter, composer, music educator, and multi-instrumentalist from Cartersville. He has released two albums on the Cosmic Possum label.

Although Coffee House is a free event for the community, donations are accepted for the Red Door Food Pantry or the Rector’s Discretionary Fund that assists those in need in our immediate community.

Ascension Coffee House usually takes place on the 2nd Friday of each month from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Check our Facebook page for the most current information and livestream of events.
